About 

A native of Eastern Long Island, New York, Jerri Castillo is a multimedia visual artist and educator. She received a Master in Fine Arts from The American University in Washington D.C., a  Bachelor in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate, from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Ms. Castillo has also studied at The Florence Academy of Art, in Florence Italy.

Jerri Castillo is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUNY Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn. Additionally, she is the Art Coordinator at Project Excel of the Huntington Youth Bureau.

  • Teach pre-K-toddlers, K-12, and adults.
  • Design lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advance level classes in the visual arts, multi-media explorations, and video production. Utilize art history and digital technology to enhance student learning.
